2022 MotoGP World Championship
2022 Valencian Community Grand Prix
Circuit Ricardo Tormo
Cheste, Spain
Sunday, 6 November 2022
Monster Energy Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo will be hoping for a miracle as the World Championship goes down to the wire at the
Valencian Community Grand Prix on Sunday, November 6.
The Frenchman has seen his title defence slowly slip away over the last few months after winning three of the opening 10 races in 2022.

Quartararo trails Ducati Lenovo Team's Francesco Bagnaia by 23 points going into the final round, having been 91 points ahead of the Italian at one stage.
The 2021 world champion needs to win at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo and pray that Bagnaia has a bad race - P13 or higher will see the title exchange hands.

However, Monster Energy Yamaha Team Principal Lin Jarvis has not given up hope of pulling off the unthinkable in Cheste, citing the 2006 season finale as an example when Valentino Rossi crashed out of the race to hand Nicky Hayden the title.
"We're still in the fight. We should be happy about that," Jarvis said. "You never know, but we have to win the race, which is not easy, and our rivals will have to have a sort of setback, which is not the ideal way to win either ... but in this sport anything can happen.
"When we went to Valencia in 2006 Valentino was going to almost simply complete a formality by winning the race but the unthinkable happened, Valentino crashed and Nicky took the title.
"I know that Valencia is a very difficult track, so anything can happen."
