Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas will be hoping to record his first win of the season when he competes at the Turkish
Grand Prix.
The Finnish star endured a disappointing race at the 2020 Turkish Grand Prix as he finished 14th and he will be determined to perform better this year.
Bottas could not secure a podium finish in the most recent race which was the Russian Grand Prix on September 26 as he finished fifth.

His teammate Lewis Hamilton won the 2021 Russian Grand Prix which was the 15th round of the current campaign.
Hamilton's Formula One title rival, Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing finished second, while Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz Jr secured a third spot finish.
Looking at the 2021 Drivers' Championship standings, Hamilton is sitting at the top and he is followed by Verstappen.
Bottas is placed third on the standings and he will be looking to move closer to Verstappen and Hamilton by winning the Turkish Grand Prix title.

“I think we made the right call at the end and stopped early,” Bottas said after the Russian Grand Prix where he felt he could have secured a podium finish.
“I actually tried to come even one lap earlier but the team wasn’t ready. So I think with that we could have been on the podium.
"But still we were one of the early ones to stop, which was the right call. I think the rain kind of saved us today that we got some points,” he admitted.
Mercedes are placed at the top of the Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Red Bull Racing-Honda and McLaren-Mercedes respectively.
