Equatorial Guinea are set to clash with Zambia in a
2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifier - Group B match on October 07.
The National Thunder claimed a 1-0 victory over Mauritania at home in their last game which was a Group B match on September 07.
The victory ended Equatorial Guinea's two-match winless run across all competitions having recorded two consecutive defeats.
The National Thunder are undefeated in their last three home matches having registered three successive victories.
Meanwhile, Zambia succumbed to a 2-0 loss to Tunisia at home in their previous match which was a Group B game on September 07.
The defeat ended Chipolopolo's three-match unbeaten run across all competitions having registered three successive victories.
However, Zambia are unbeaten in their last two matches on the road having recorded one draw and one victory.

“Let’s believe in this team, it’s the only team we have and don’t doubt us," Zambia coach Beston Chambeshi said.
"We are working hard with the boys and the boys are putting in a lot to see to it that we qualify to the World Cup.
“We assembled yesterday and all the players are in which is good for the technical staff, We are happy with the response and all we looking for is to prepare well for the first game against Equatorial Guinea.”
The last time there was a meeting between Equatorial Guinea and Zambia was on 29 January 2012.
Chipolopolo secured 1-0 victory in the 2012 African Cup of Nations Group A match which was played at the Nuevo Estadio de Malabo in Equatorial Guinea.
