Nkana moves out of the relegation zone as Zanaco remains in the red zone.
Week nine came with a lot of surprises with Kabwe Warriors unbeaten run being ended by
Power Dynamos.
On Saturday 26th October eight games were played with only one game involving Power Dynamos and Kabwe Warriors which took place on Sunday.
On Saturday at Dola Hill stadium, it was the Ndola derby between Forest Rangers and log leaders Zesco United. The visitors took the lead in the 35th minute through Abraham Sinakombo silencing the home crowd.
But the Timber boys did not give up as they equalized just before the half time whistle.
The second half was intense as Abraham Siankombo grabbed his brace in the 54th minute, but the home side replied in the 59th minute through Upite to end the match in a 2-all draw.
Zesco have maintained their lead on the log with 20 points, four points clear second placed Power Dyanmos.
In Mufulira it was the Mopani derby between Nkana and Mufulira Wanderers. The match was at Shinde Stadium the home of Maite and Aba Red took the lead in the fourth minute through Jacob Ngulube.
The match ended 3-1 in Favour of Nkana. The win took Nkana out of relegation zone while Wanderers moved down to 16th position in the relegation zone.
In Lusaka Zanaco recorded another draw against Mutondo Stars which ended 1-1 that made them earn a point and still stuck in relegation zone.
