Jon Rahm will be determined to clinch his second
The American Express title when competes in La Quinta and Palm Desert, California, USA.
The Spanish superstar won this tournament when it was still known as the CareerBuilder Challenge after a sudden-death playoff with Andrew Landry in 2018.
After matching scores on the first three extra holes, Rahm prevailed with a birdie on the fourth extra hole.

The win lifted Rahm to a then-career-high second in the world rankings and this made it four wins in just 38 professional starts for him – a ratio bettered only by Tiger Woods in the past 30 years.
Rahm was the world number one in the world rankings, having first achieved that rank after winning the Memorial Tournament in July 2020.
The 26-year-old was the second Spaniard after Seve Ballesteros to be number one in the world, but his reign as the number one golfer lasted two weeks.
Rahm was overtaken by Justin Thomas after Thomas won the 2020 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational.
The Barrika-born golfer then won the BMW Championship and this was the second tournament of the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

In January 2021, Rahm signed a multi-year agreement with Callaway Golf Company.
Rahm will transition into a full bag of Callaway Woods, Callaway Irons, Callaway Wedges, a Callaway Chrome Soft X Golf Ball, and an Odyssey Putter.
“I’m so happy to be joining Callaway, and I can’t wait to start the year,” said Rahm, who used Callaway during his college career at Arizona State University.
“The equipment is already performing well for me, and in my first round with the new setup, I shot a course record 59 at Silverleaf.
“I have confidence in my new Callaway clubs – and especially the golf ball, which has really impressed me during the testing process.”
