The Toronto Raptors and Charlotte Hornets will do battle in the 2020-21 NBA Regular Season when they meet at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on the morning of 15 January 2021, with tip-off at 02:30 CAT.
The Raptors come into this game off the back of successive losses to the Golden State Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers, with Pascal Siakim reflecting on a narrow 112-111 reverse in the latter showdown.

“We fought hard to get wins and it came down to a couple of possessions,” Siakam said. “If we had made a couple of shots, we’d have a different record right now. But if you look at the record, it’s tough.”
The Hornets, meanwhile, have been in fine form of late and Gordon Hayward revelled in scoring an impressive 34 points in a victory over the New York Knicks earlier this week.
The small forward has been on fire for the Hornets during the team's winning streak, averaging 29.2 points while shooting 55% from the floor and 92% from the foul line.
"It's been a lot of fun playing with my new teammates and under this coaching staff," Hayward said. "I'm having a great time. As long as we keep doing our jobs and playing hard every night I think the wins and losses will take care of themselves."

In head-to-head terms, the Raptors and Hornets have met in 83 Regular Season games since 1995-96. The Toronto franchise has claimed 38 wins compared to Charlotte's 45.
The teams last met in the Regular Season in February 2020, with the Hornets claiming a 99-96 home win, inspired by 18 point apiece from Terry Rozier and Devonte Graham.
