Yamaha rider Franco Morbidelli walked away victorious after clinching the San Marino Grand Prix title last weekend.
Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia and Joan Mir of Suzuki finished second, and third respectively at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
Bagnaia's teammate Andrea Dovizioso is sitting at the top of the riders' standings followed by Yamaha's Fabian Quartararo.
Miller is placed third on the riders' standings and a victory this weekend could see him move to the top of the table - replacing his teammate Dovizioso.

Miller is looking forward at the Emilia Romagna and Rimini's Coast Grand Prix and he explained that they need to try and find a little more speed in the race.
“Everyone is getting more consistent now I think and the double-up weekends doesn't make it any easier," Miller said.
"But I knew, every guy that went past, I understood where they were in the championship. It's going through your mind. But the ideal thing is you want to beat all these guys so we'll keep plugging away.
"I think next weekend will be a difficult weekend again but we need to try and find a little more speed and challenge for the top five and come out of here with the maximum points we can.”
Yahama are sitting at the top of Manufacturers' Championship standings with 113 points.
Ducati and KTM are placed second and third with 107 and 88 points respectively on the standings.
