Matthijs de Ligt scored the winner for the
Bianconeri in a 3-2 comeback victory at Spezia on Wednesday evening. Three points moved the Italian giants out of the relegation zone following a difficult start to the campaign.
"It was a difficult match, in the first half we played well but they managed to fight back," said De Ligt in the aftermath.
"We're in a period where everything that can go wrong does. Both of their goals came from deflections, let's hope we can have some luck in the future."
Sampdoria also registered their first win of the season earlier this week, beating Empoli 3-0 on the back of a Francesco Caputo brace.

Last season, Juventus took six points off Sampdoria. The
Old Lady followed a 3-0 win at home with a 2-0 win in Genoa.
