Atletico Madrid will renew their rivalry with Real Madrid in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Estádio Cívitas Metropolitano on 24 September.
Current Form
Atletico were thrashed 3-0 by Valencia CF away on 16 September as their seven-match unbeaten run in the Spanish top-flight came to an end.
However, the Mattress Makers are also undefeated in their last 12 home matches having registered 11 victories and one draw.
Meanwhile, Real emerged as 2-1 winners over Real Sociedad at home on 17 September and they are unbeaten in their last eight La Liga matches.
The Whites are also enjoying a four-match unbeaten run on the road having recorded four consecutive victories as the away side.

Atletico players Rodrigo De Paul, Memphis Depay, Koke, Reinildo and Çağlar Söyüncü are all out injured, but the club has no suspension concerns.
Real, on the other hand, have no suspension worries, but Éder Militão, Thibaut Courtois, Arda Güler and Vinícius Júnior are still out injured.

"We've conceded goals in three of the five games we've played, and gone behind in them," Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said after their win over Sociedad.
"We have to prevent that from happening because it's hard to get back into the game and you have to make more of an effort, as we saw today.
"And today it was against a side who play very good football. We managed to do it thanks to the commitment, energy and desire from the team, which has been something that's been seen in all of these games," he added.
"We're capable of turning up with an intensity that our opponents find difficult to withstand for 90 minutes".

Atletico and Madrid played to a 1-1 draw in their last La Liga meeting which took place at the Estádio Santiago Bernabeu on 25 February 2022.
As a result, the Whites are unbeaten in their last two league games against the Mattress Makers - winning once and drawing once.
