Francesco Bagnaia will be hoping to redeem himself by winning the
Japanese MotoGP after enduring a disappointing race in India.

The Ducati Lenovo Team rider saw his ambitions of retaining the MotoGP world title take a knock at the 2023 Indian MotoGP on 24 September.
Bagnaia started on the third grid and unfortunately, he was forced to retire due to an accident that saw him fail to record a single point.
Standings
The VR46 Riders Academy product is still placed at the top of the riders' standings having accumulated 292 points from 13 races.
Bagnaia is 13 points ahead of second-placed Jorge Martin of Ducati with seven races left in the current campaign.
Why Bagnaia could win the 2023 Japanese MotoGP
The 26-year-old has failed to win the last three races and he knows that he cannot afford to slip up in the last seven events.
Bagnaia has already tasted success in Japan having won the 2018 Japanese Moto2 at the Mobility Resort Motegi and he will be eyeing his sixth win of the term this weekend.
What did he say?
“[Marco] Bezzecchi today was unbeatable, but we were there with Jorge and as soon as I overtook him I didn't increase my pace," Bagnaia said after the Indian MotoGP.
"It was the same. But as soon as the rear came back from the slide [braking for Turn 5] it pushed the front and I lost it. It's something that can happen.
“I'm not happy because I think this doesn't have to happen to me, because I'm fighting for a championship. It's a mistake that right now I cannot do.”
