Jimmy Walker will be looking to make history when he competes in the
2021 Sony Open in Hawaii.
The American star is one of the five multiple winners of the tournament, all two-time champions: Hubert Green, Corey Pavin, Lanny Wadkins, Ernie Els and Walker.
Walker won back-to-back titles between 2014 and 2015 emulating Els, Pavin and Green, who are also back-to-back champions.
The 41-year-old will now be looking to become the first man to win three Sony Open in Hawaii titles.
Walker played in 187 events without a win on the PGA Tour and his big breakthrough came in 2014 when he clinched three titles.
Frys.com Open, Sony Open in Hawaii and AT & T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am were the three trophies which Walker lifted during the 2014 season.
Walker is now a six-time winner on the PGA Tour having won his second Sony Open in Hawaii title, Valero Texas Open and PGA Championship.
The 2016 PGA Championship triumph remains Walker's only major title and he will be keen to make history at the Sony Open in Hawaii.
Walker is currently enduring a four-year trophy drought on the PGA Tour, as he looks to return to winning ways.
"I've had ups and downs in my career, but this has definitely been tough, especially the last few months," Walker said.
"I just haven’t putted very well…what can I attribute that to? I'm not really sure, but I just know that being sick has been rough and you don't really know exactly what it's done to you.
"I'm working as hard as I ever have and grinding away and I'm just trying to enjoy my job. I've got an amazing job and take it for granted a little bit sometimes. So I'm just trying to just enjoy it again."
