Ducati rider Johann Zarco will be keen to secure a podium finish when he competes at the
French Grand Prix on May 16.
The French star finished outside the podium positions for the first time this season at the recent Spanish Grand Prix where he settled for the eighth spot.
Prior to that, Zarco had finished second at the Qatar Grand Prix and Doha Grand Prix and he is now hoping to perform well in his home country, France.

The Spanish Grand Prix was won by Zarco's teammate Jack Miller and he was followed by Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia and Yamaha rider Franco Morbidelli respectively.
Bagnaia is now sitting at the top of the Riders' standings as the race for this season's MotoGP world title intensifies.
While Yamaha duo of Fabio Quartararo and Maverick Vinales are placed second and third respectively on the standings.
Zarco finds himself placed fifth on the standings and a win at the French Grand Prix will see him climb to the top of the table.

Zarco has revealed that he wants to cement his place in the top five as he looks to clinch his maiden of the season this weekend.
"I wish to perform around the top 5. This would be a nice first target and a realistic target," Zarco said.
"Because still what is in mind is the victory and podium, as Jack finished last year. So I think at the beginning the top 5 would be a good step."
Yamaha are placed at the top of Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Ducati and Suzuki respectively.
