Josef Straka will be eager to register his second win of the
2025 PGA Tour season by clinching the Cognizant Classic.
What to know about Straka
The Austrian star turned professional in 2016 after completing college and played several tournaments on the PGA Tour Canada in the same year.
Straka has won four professional tournaments including three PGA events and he finished second in The Open Championship in 2023 - his best performance in a golf major.

The man nicknamed Sepp has been inactive since he competed in the 2025 Genesis Invitational in California where he missed the cut.
Sepp is currently ranked 19th in the Official World Golf Ranking and his best overall ranking is 16th.
Why Straka is among the favourites
The 31-year-old became the first Austrian to win on the PGA Tour when he won the 2022 Cognizant Classic as he shot a final round 66 to win by one shot over Shane Lowry.
Having won 2025 The American Express in January, Straka will be determined to record his second win of the current PGA Tour season at this weekend's Cognizant Classic.
