Ferrari's Charles Leclerc heads to the United States Grand Prix on Sunday, October 20 keen to avoid a repeat of the mistake he made in qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix.
The Monegasque saw his solo qualifying lap on the day before the race in Singapore deleted for exceeding track limits which meant that he only started ninth on the grid.
Leclerc found himself behind Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso and Haas' Nico Hulkenberg for several laps before eventually managing to catch and pass Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton to claim P5.

The 27-year-old driver had hoped to secure a 10th podium of the season after showing strong pace during the Friday practice sessions, but he fell 34 points behind McLaren's Lando Norris, who won the race ahead of Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen.
Leclerc admitted to mixed emotions afterwards as he paid the price for a clear error on his part during Q3.

"It's mixed feelings. Today I think we did a really, really good job and I think there wasn't anything on the table to do better. We had a frustrating first part of the race where we couldn't do anything but just wait, and then once Nico and Fernando pitted I could push," he said.
"We had good pace, we stopped and [had] a really strong second stint that brought us back to P5, so on that I was really happy. However, a bit of a disappointing weekend.
"Yesterday I arrived here [to the media pen] very angry because of the tyres - looking back at it, yes the tyres were not exactly in the right window, but this happens very often in qualifying and I think the main issue was me locking up into Turn 1 and going wide and having track limits and a bad lap and everything.
"With hindsight, I think I was probably the one to blame yesterday, and it happens - there will be qualifying that we do well and qualifyings where you do a mistake, especially when you have only one lap and then you pay the price."
