The Toffees have started the season with three wins from three matches and head into this weekend's round of fixtures in third place on the log standings.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin's impressive form in front of goal has been key to their success thus far with the forward the joint top-scorer in the league with five goals from three matches.
Everton beat Crystal Palace 2-1 in their most recent encounter and head coach Carlo Ancelotti is understandably delighted with his team's strong start to the campaign.
"The performance was difficult. We had difficulties," said Ancelotti.
"The first half was quite good, we were able to play as we wanted. The second half was more difficult because Crystal Palace played a good second half putting a lot of pressure on us.
"We were not able to play with the ball as we wanted, but the spirit defensively was good. We worked hard, we left out the quality but the attitude defensively was good from all the players.
"I think that, if I have to judge the period, we did really well. We have a new squad, with new players, they adapted really well.
"The start of the season was fantastic, but I think we have to keep going, to think about the next game and try to improve and be focused.
"I'm really pleased with what we've done in this first period of the season."
The Seagulls slumped to a second defeat of the season last time out, going down 3-2 to Manchester United in a dramatic game at Amex Stadium in which the hosts hit the woodwork on five occasions. Brighton will be disappointed with their return of three points from three matches, but have impressed with their fearless play.

Everton beat their opponents 1-0 in the corresponding fixture last season thanks to a solitary strike from Richarlison.
