The American star had a successful amateur career and was the number-one golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 55 weeks.
Cantlay has won eight times on the PGA Tour and has been crowned champion at the 2021 FedEx Cup and 2013 Colombia Championship.

Cantlay was in action at the most recent tournament on the 2024 PGA Tour schedule, the FedEx St. Jude Championship where he finished 12th.
The man nicknamed Patty Ice is currently placed ninth on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best overall ranking is third place.

Patty Ice is the joint-second most successful golfer in the history of the BMW Championship having won this event twice - in 2021 and 2022.
The current season has seen Cantlay finish third at the US Open and RBC Heritage, and he will be keen to secure his first win of the campaign this weekend.
