Elche CF will take on Villarreal CF in a Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero on February 6.
The Green Striped Ones suffered a 1-0 defeat to Valencia away in their previous league encounter which was played on January 30.
The defeat extended Elche's winless run to 14 matches in this competition having registered seven draws and seven wins.
They are winless in their last seven matches at home in La Liga having recorded four draws and three defeats at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero.
Meanwhile, Villarreal were held to a 1-1 draw by Real Sociedad at home in their previous league game which was played on January 30.
As a result, the Yellow Submarine are undefeated in their last five matches in the league having registered three successive draws and two consecutive wins.
Villarreal are unbeaten in their last two away matches in the competition having recorded one draw and one victory.

Unai Emery, the Villarreal manager, was frustrated that his side couldn’t kill the game off, but recognised that a draw was a fair result:
“In the first half, we let them have chances where they could have equalised," Emery said.
"We were more solid in the second half, but we didn’t know how to kill off the game. When the games are like that one was, they can equalise from anything.
"It’s a shame that the away team’s goal came so late on, but it’s a fair result.”
The last meeting between Elche and Villarreal in a league match was on 6 December 2020.
The two teams played to a 0-0 draw in a match which was played at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
