2021/22 English Premier League
Matchday 23
Arsenal v Burnley
Emirates Stadium
London, England
Sunday, 23 January 2022
Kick-off is at 16h00
Arsenal will be looking to return to winning ways when they entertain rock-bottom Burnley in a
Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium on January 23.
The Gunners were last in league action on New Year's Day when they lost 2-1 at home to Manchester City, which brought their five-match winning streak to an end.
The North London derby was scheduled to take place on January 16, but was postponed due to COVID-19 with Mikel Arteta unable to name a requisite squad of 14 (13 outfield players and a goalkeeper) against Tottenham.
Arteta's side held Liverpool to a goalless draw in the FA Cup third round at Anfield three days prior, the visitors having to play for 70 minutes with just 10 men following the dismissal of Ganit Xhaka in the first half.

The Spaniard praised his players for being resilient in the face of adversity to force a replay on home soil and added that the experience they gained from dealing with the situation will stand them in good stead.
"Well it certainly gives them the experience that they are able to do that, " he told the club's official website.
"That resilience to do what they did last night is based on your spirit, your belief and the fact that you're never going to give up, and take on any challenge that is facing you - and do you best.
"Sometimes you have to still extend that and against the team that we played last night, that was necessary."
The Clarets have also fallen victim to the pandemic with their January 15 encounter against Leicester also being postponed.
Sean Dyche was absent from the dugout as well for their FA Cup tie against Huddersfield the previous week as he had to follow isolation protocols.

The 2-1 loss to the Terriers plunged the club further into crisis; they are rooted to the foot of the table, three points adrift of safety after failing to win their last seven league outings.
Assistant manager Ian Woan admits they were down to the bare bones in the cup-tie, but hopes to see more bodies return in the week to come.
"We are hopeful some faces will return next week. We are stretched to the limit at the moment. We work in a no excuse environment and at present that was the only starting eleven we could go with," Woan said.
