Harry Kane has stated that recent performances have given England belief that they can beat Spain in the
Euro 2024 final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Sunday, July 14.
The Three Lions and their manager came in for criticism after failing to impress during the group stages as they laboured to a 1-0 win over Serbia before playing out to successive draws against Denmark (1-1) and Slovenia (0-0).
Gareth Southgate's side then showed their battling qualities in the subsequent rounds, coming from behind to eliminate Slovakia, Switzerland (on penalties) and the Netherlands.
It is the first time England will contest a final on foreign soil after they won the 1966 World Cup at Wembley and also lost to Italy in the Euro 2020 decider at the same venue.

Kane, who equalised from the penalty spot on 18 minutes to cancel out Xavi Simons' seventh-minute opener for the Dutch in the semi-finals, is determined to go all the way in Germany this time around.
"Another semi-final win, it doesn't get more special than that," the Bayern Munich star said in his post-match interview. "Unbelievable tournament so far. We've had to show unbelievable character, resilience, physical strength, mental strength - we've shown it all.
"But there's still one more to go and we spoke a lot after the last final about being back here, being back to where we belong and going that one step further, and now we have an opportunity on Sunday.
"It will be a really tough game of course but we can take the belief from the last knockout games into that final."
