Yamaha rider Fabian Quartararo will be eager to extend his lead at the top of the 2021 Riders' standings by winning the
Dutch MotoGP title on June 27.
The French star settled for a third-place finish behind runner-up Marc Marquez of Honda and winner Maverick Vinales of Yamaha in the last Dutch MotoGP race which took place in 2019.
Quartararo also finished third in the most recent race in the 2021 MotoGP World Championship season which was at the German MotoGP on June 20.

The 2021 German MotoGP was won by Marquez, who boasted his hopes of challenging for this season's MotoGP world title.
Marquez was followed by the KTM rider Miguel Oliveira, who won the 2021 Catalan MotoGP, following an entertaining race in Hohenstein-Ernstthal.
The Ducati duo of Johann Zarco and Jack Miller are placed second and third respectively on the standings as the battle for this season's MotoGP world title continues.
Quartararo is now 22 points above second-placed Zarco heading into this weekend's Dutch MotoGP.

The 22-year-old feels that finishing third at the German Grand Prix “is gold” to him as he struggled all weekend on the factory Yamaha.
“Yes, honestly this podium is gold. All the weekend we have been struggling, this morning [in warm-up] I was behind Taka [Nakagami] at Turn 7 I was losing at least two tenths, and in the race it was the same," Quartararo said.
“Let’s say I was struggling so much and I feel like this podium is really gold because I fight till the end, I give it all and I think it’s so important for the team because we have been struggling all weekend.
“This one was so tough for us. Now I’m looking forward to Assen, it’s one of my favourite tracks and the Yamaha will go fantastic."
Yamaha are placed at the top of Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Ducati and KTM respectively.
