Marc Marquez will be keen to win the Dutch TT for the third time in his illustrious career when he competes in the historical race.

The Ducati Gresini Racing MotoGP rider came close to securing a podium spot at the most recent event in the 2024 season, which was the Italian MotoGP on 2 June.
Marquez started in the third grid slot, but he slipped up and finished fourth which saw him accumulate 13 points from the race staged in Scarperia e San Piero.
MotoGP title ambitions
The Spanish superstar is now third on the 2024 MotoGP Riders' standings, having accumulated 136 points from seven races.
Marquez is 35 points behind leader Jorge Martin of Ducati Prima Pramac Racing, as the battle for the MotoGP world title continues.
Why Marquez could win the 2024 Dutch TT
The accomplished motorcycle rider was crowned Dutch TT champion in 2014 and 2018 and also won the same event twice as a Moto2 rider.
Marquez, who finished second in this campaign's Spanish MotoGP and French MotoGP, will be confident of securing his first win of the season this weekend.
What did he say?
"We missed out on the podium, but we did a positive race," Marquez said after finishing fourth at the 2024 Italian MotoGP.
"I couldn’t overtake (Enea) Bastianini and when he passed me with two laps ago, it seemed as though he was on fresh tyres. Both Pecco (Francesco Bagnaia) and him were really strong. We’re leaving with a few more points in the standings.
"And we’re very positive ahead of the next two back-to-back races. We’ll keep working during the test day in order to further improve our feeling.”
