Liverpool’s last home match brought a 2-0 win over Watford and they will be confident of continuing that form and their dominance of the Premier League – even though Wolverhampton represent a much tougher test than the Hornets.
“We have to do what we do and we will do that, and we are quite positive about it. It’s clear we need each point we can get because it’s a tough and long season. You [the media] can make early judgements; we can’t. We just have to recover and play the next game,” said manager Jurgen Klopp.

Wolves have proven one of the most resilient teams in the top flight this season, but a clash away to Liverpool will be a major test of their skill and stamina.
“I’m proud of the way my players keep going,” said manager Nuno Espirito Santo. “Resilience is the word. We never give up. We want to improve and get better.”

Liverpool completed a league ‘double’ over Wolves last season. The Reds won 2-0 both at Molineux Stadium in December 2018 and in the return game at Anfield in May 2019.
