7-10 March 2024
Austin Eckroat will be eager to make it back-to-back wins on the 2024 PGA Tour schedule by clinching the
Arnold Palmer Invitational.
What to know about Eckroat
The American golfer turned professional in 2021 and he was a four-time All-American and won a team title in 2018 as an amateur.
Eckroat's best performance in a golf major saw him tie the 9-hole record of 29 in the final round of the 2023 US Open and he finished tied for 10th for the championship.
News
The Oklahoma-born golfer was in action at the recent 2024 Cognizant Classic in South Florida, USA where he was crowned champion over the weekend.
As a result, Eckroat is now placed 49th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and it is his best overall ranking.
Why Eckroat is among the favourites
The 25-year-old is playing some of his best golf at the moment having won his first PGA Tour event at the Cognizant Classic.
Eckroat beat Erik van Rooyen and Min Woo Lee by three shots and this should give him the confidence to try, and win the Arnold Palmer Invitational title.
