Real Valladolid will square off with Atletico Madrid in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio Municipal José Zorrilla on May 22.
The White and Violets suffered a 4-1 loss to Real Sociedad away in their previous league game which played on May 16.
As a result, Valladolid are winless in their last 11 matches in the league having recorded five defeats and six draws.

Valladolid are also winless in their last five home matches in the league having registered three draws and two defeats.
Meanwhile, Atletico secured a 2-1 win over Osasuna at home in their previous league game which was played on May 16.
The win extended the Mattress Makers' winless run to four games in the league having recorded three wins and one draw.
Atletico are also undefeated in their last two matches in the road in La Liga having registered one draw and one victory.

Diego Simeone, the Atletico manager, praised Luis Suarez following their win over Osasuna and he says they will prepare for their game against Valladolid with the same enthusiasm.
“He is always there. He gives us leadership and who better than him(Suarez) to solve a game that we could have lost without him,” Simeone said.
“We will prepare with the same enthusiasm for the final day as we have done since I arrive in 2011. “The team will be fierce and I want the fans to continue to feel proud of what we have done.”
The last meeting between Valladolid and Atletico in the league was on 50 December 2020.
Atletico secured a convincing 2-0 win over Valladolid in a match which was played at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.
