Quotes

"I wasn't too angry, just a bit frustrated. I told the referee it was a valid goal, and the decision was wrong. It wasn't offside," Barcelona manager Hansi Flick said after his side's defeat to Sociedad.

"If it had stood, it could have been a different game for us, but it wasn't meant to be. The responsibility for the loss is on us. We could have played much better. We were solid for the first 15 minutes.

"But in the end, we didn't manage to win. We haven't been strong enough, but I still value what the team has done so far. We finished the match together, and that's important."

Head-to-Head

Barcelona claimed a 2-1 win over Celta in their last meeting in La Liga with the match taking place at the  Abanca-Balaídos on 17 February.

As a result, Barca are undefeated in their last two matches against the Sky Blues having registered two consecutive wins.
