Seamus Power will be determined to make history by becoming the first golfer to win the
Butterfield Bermuda Championship title twice.
What to know about Power
The Irish star played amateur golf as a student at the East Tennessee State University where he won five times including the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship in 2007 and 2010.
Power turned professional in 2011 and he has since won seven tournaments including two PGA Tour events, and four which were part of the eGolf Professional Tour.

The 37-year-old took a break from professional golf after securing a top 15 finish at the 2024 ZOZO Championship in October - finishing 13th.
Power is currently placed 116th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best overall ranking is 28th.
Why Power is among the favourites
Power won his second PGA Tour event at the 2022 Butterfield Bermuda Championship after he shot three rounds of 65 en route to a one-shot win over Thomas Detry.
The 2021 Barbasol Championship winner will be hoping to replicate the form that saw him emerge victorious at the Port Royal Golf Course two years ago.

“I’m absolutely over the moon. The first one was amazing but to be able to win again, it’s fantastic," Power said after winning the 2022 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
"I get whatever, it’s pretty much a three-year exemption and all the kinds of cool things that come with it. It’s just you’re kind of so proud and it’s amazing to be able to do it again.
“So I was able to make a couple birdies on the front and then kind of hang on there coming back in.”
