2024 RSM Classic is scheduled to take place in Saint Simons Island, Georgia, USA between 21 and 24 November.
What to know about the tournament
The event debuted in October 2010 and was known as the McGladrey Classic until 2015, when the title sponsor's name changed from McGladrey to RSM US.
The tournament is organised by the Davis Love Foundation. Davis III is an experienced golfer who has won 37 professional tournaments including the 1997 PGA Championship.
News
Tournament organsiers have announced that Ludvig Aberg, the 2023 champion, will lead a group of PGA Tour winners scheduled to compete in the 15th edition of the RSM Classic.
Five of those winners have won the last five events on the PGA Tour schedule and 156 players will be in action at the Plantation Golf Course.
Favourites
Aberg and golfers who are also ranked in the top 35 in the Official World Golf Rankings, Brian Harman and Sepp Straka will headline the 2024 RSM Classic.
Former RSM Classic champions Mackenzie Hughes, Adam Svensson, Robert Streb, Austin Cook, Tyler Duncan, Tommy Gainey and Chris Kirk will also be in action.
Austin Eckroat - a two-time winner in the 2024 PGA Tour season and winner this fall - will also tee off this week.
What Is At Stake
The 2024 RSM Classic will feature a $7,6 million total purse, including $1,368 million to the winner.
The champion will also receive 500 FedExCup points and a stunning silver-plated trophy with handles.
