Prima Pramac Racing's Jorge Martin is delighting in his battle with Francesco Bagnaia for the MotoGP Championship title with just two races remaining in the season.
The Spaniard heads to the Malaysian Grand Prix on Sunday, November 3 holding a 17-point lead over the reigning two-time world champion in the riders' standings.
Martin claimed his 14th podium of the year with a P2 at the Thailand Grand Prix after he finished 2.905 seconds behind race winner Bagnaia, having also come second in the sprint.

The 26-year-old rider started third on the grid, but made a good launch away to enter turn 1 in first place, although he ran wide on turn 3 with 22 laps to go and was overtaken by Bagnaia and Marc Marquez.
Martin went off the track again with 13 laps to go as he saw Marquez crash out right in front of him, but he managed to save the front end of the bike and went on to secure a third successive P2.

"Today was a very challenging race day, it was really difficult to try to beat Pecco [Bagnaia] with the track in these conditions," Martin said.
"But I am satisfied , I think I finished a very good weekend. I was very competitive in the dry and in the wet I still finished on the podium, losing only five points which is positive.
"The outlook from the perspective of the title race is very good because before Japan I was 21 points behind and now I still have 17. In three races I've lost only four points, so I have to try to maintain these results.
"Too bad about the rain because in the dry I felt very competitive. Pecco was really competitive, he is a champion and for me it is a pleasure to be at this point of the championship fighting head-to-head against him."
