Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas will be hoping to make history when he competes in this weekend's
Dutch Grand Prix.
The two-time Formula One runner-up is yet to win a race in the current season and he will be hoping to become the first Finnish driver to win the Dutch Grand Prix.
Bottas failed to secure a podium finish in the most recent race which was the Belgian Grand Prix on August 29 as he finished 12th.

Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing-Honda won the 2021 Belgian Grand Prix which was the 12th round of the current campaign.
Bottas' teammate Lewis Hamilton finished third in an entertaining race, while Williams driver George Russell secured a second spot finish.
Looking at the 2021 Drivers' Championship standings, Hamilton is sitting at the top and he is followed by Verstappen and Lando Norris of McLaren-Mercedes respectively.
Bottas is still placed fourth on the standings, but he will leapfrog Norris into third place if he wins the Dutch Grand Prix.

"It’s a huge shame, of course, that we couldn’t race and there were many committed fans out there, waiting for us to get started but we couldn’t," Bottas said after a rain-soaked Belgian Grand Prix.
"They were still smiling throughout and in good spirits, so hats off to them. And obviously for me, with the penalty I had and the bad qualifying, being outside the top 10 on the grid meant I couldn’t fight for any points.
"There was a fair amount of standing water but the main thing was the visibility, particularly on the straights. It was really poor and would have been too dangerous," he added.
"Thankfully there isn’t long to wait for the next race, Zandvoort is a new track on the calendar, I have raced there before in Formula 3 back in the day, so I’m looking forward to that."
Mercedes are placed at the top of the Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Red Bull Racing-Honda and McLaren-Mercedes respectively.
