However, the Glorious Ones are undefeated in their last six home matches in the league having recorded four wins and two draws at the Estadio de Mendizorroza.
Meanwhile, Sevilla emerged as 1-0 winners over Getafe CF at home on 14 September as they snapped an eight-match winless run in
La Liga.
However, Sevillistas are winless in their last five away matches in the league having recorded three defeats and two draws on the road.
Team News
Hugo Novoa is the only player on Alaves' injury list at the moment, but the Glorious One have no suspension concerns.
Sevilla, on the other hand, will be without the injured quartet of Marcão, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Loic Badé and Suso, while Juanlu Sánchez is suspended.
Quotes
"We came out very well and subdued Getafe team. We made two mistakes, including a very serious one in which they could have scored," Sevilla manager Garcia Pimienta said after his side's win over Getafe.
"Jesús [Navas]'s goal came from a good move on the left flank. On the counter-attack, we had some very clear chances. In the second half we were very good, but when you have a player sent off, things can then become nervy.
"I'm happy because we knew how to dig in for the last few minutes."
Head-to-Head
Alaves claimed a 3-2 win over Sevilla in their last meeting in La Liga in a match played at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán on 12 January.
As a result, the Glorious are undefeated in their last four league matches against Sevillistas having registered two successive wins and two consecutive draws.
