2019 Zanaco Masters
4-7 April 2019
Lusaka Golf Club, Zambia
The 2019 Zanaco Masters will be the sixth edition of the Sunshine Tour event, with the tournament taking place at the Lusaka Golf Club in Zambia from 4-7 April.
This year’s Zanaco Masters comes hot on the heels of the Zambia Open at the Nkana Golf Club last week, which was won by South African Daniel van Tonder.
Van Tonder will be amongst the favourites for the title in Lusaka, though the strong field for the event includes no less than three previous Zanaco Masters winners (at the time of writing).
These are South Africans Lyle Rowe (the 2014 champion), Vaughn Groenewald (the 2015 champion) and last year’s winner, JJ Senekal. The 31-year-old, won the tournament with a score of 274 (-14).
The Lusaka Golf Club course is a par 73 and the 2019 Zanaco Masters will be played over four rounds from Thursday to Sunday. The prize fund is R2,000,000 minimum.
